Skincare & Grooming Services for Men at Wild Wolf Barbershop

All skincare services mentioned are preformed in shop. I love skincare… it’s not just a routine for me- it’s a lifestyle. Here in Acworth, I have noticed my clients fall into a very wide range when it comes to skincare. Some guys never touch a drop of skincare on a daily basis…  while some of my clients are well versed in products, routines and skincare brands. I really want to offer a couple of tailored skincare treatments for my clients. Getting a facial is one of the most relaxing and refreshing services you can receive. I am so excited to take a Dermalogica class soon, so that I can further my education in skincare. I’m doing a deep dive on the perfect products to complement the services I want to offer. Dermalogica is a leading brand in skincare for at home use and professional settings. Keep an eye on my website for pricing and service details- so you can book a facial when they become available! Update:  I have now added the Pro Calm 10 facial to my list of services at...

Wild Wolf Barbershop- Sustainable Barbering Practices

Composting Blog: Where Nature and Wild Wolf Barbershop Come Together  I think I am truly just a grandma at heart. When I’m not inside Wild Wolf Barbershop producing men’s haircuts and beard trims- I have a couple hobbies. I love plants, yard work, our little goldfish pond and just being outside as much as possible. The climate in Acworth, Ga is so ideal for outdoor activities!  I decided to try my hand at growing some fruits and veggies this year. We even plan on starting our own little flock of quail for eggs and meat (which will probably be its own post). Naturally fertilizing a garden leads us down the path of composting- the best way to have organic fertilizer on hand for our garden. I started our compost pile about a month ago and wow- it can really be a whole science. Composting is great for our soil health, our environment and cutting down on what’s sitting in our landfills. https://www.epa.gov/sustainable-management-food/composting I realized that I have a plethora of ...

2025 SMP Journey- January Edition

Image
Hey guys! SMP life update: I’m about to jump into learning the art of SMP (scalp micro pigmentation)…. I just ordered my first tattoo gun, needles and ink! Which means at some point this year, I’ll be a licensed tattoo artist. I’m definitely kinda nervous. Hair grows back… but the thought of a more permanent service is nerve-racking. I’m so lucky to have the guidance of a PMU in the suites- she’s helping me cut through the noise and fast track tools, supplies, where to train and licensing. Apparently there’s a whole bunch of very expensive classes out there and it’s hard to figure it all out… they’re pretty vague about what these classes cover. I’ll keep everyone updated as this journey unfolds and maybe I’ll even post some of my practice work. As always- I’m still offering a full list of barber services and I’m always open to taking a new client! Hope to see you soon! wildwolfbarbershop.com

Harness the Power of A Fresh Haircut In 2025

Image
It’s almost 2025! My barber business can help boost your business in the New Year… How?? By keeping your haircut or fade fresh every 3-4 weeks… it’s great way to boost confidence and put your best face forward every day! It’s basically science according to this study on sales and how physical appearance directly relates: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0148296319304631 In a nutshell- physical appearance can increase sales and growth in your business. Apparently, we all really are a little skin deep on some level. I highly recommend booking your men’s haircut and beard trims on a consistent basis. The timing depends on your hairstyle and hair growth. A cut every 3-4 weeks insures you always maintain clean look. Who doesn’t feel amazing after a good shape up or trying a new look? I cherish all of my client relationships… we depend on each other and I think it’s really amazing! Click below to book your next appointment in Acworth, Ga: www.wildwolfbarbershop.com

Things Your Barber Does To Stay Healthy… Skincare Edition 2024

Image
Hey guys! I’m going to make a few different posts about things I’m doing right now for my own health/wellness… (I’m a barber not a doctor- so disclaimer- this is not medical advice) This is my updated skincare routine as of December 2024. As a lady, loving skincare and makeup are in my genes… but this can apply to guys as well! If you know me, you know I tend to run on the ADHD side (to say the least). Some days I have the attention span of a goldfish. I also hateee spending money on things that don’t deliver dazzling results. I try to keep my routines as streamlined as possible. This is my routine laid out, am/pm for you guys. (I don’t get paid for any of these items- it’s just the things I’m loving right now) Why I swapped to bar soap: I’m doing everything I can to reduce toxin exposure in my home. I started using this facial cleansing bar, made with natural ingredients…. I heard about it on an podcast (of course). After trying every cleanser known to mankind, I’ve seen better result...

Getting the Best Experience at Wild Wolf Barbershop

Image
Hey guys! What is the best way to level up your Wild Wolf barbershop experience? Booking add-on’s to your next haircut! A basic men’s haircut service is a great way to boost your mood and leave feeling fresh and confident. I have to say- that hot lather neck shave and steamed towel really are the icing on the cake at Wild Wolf Barbershop…. Booking an extra service- like a beard trim, relaxing shampoo or brow wax- will really boost your experience that much more. A few minutes of your time and feeling a little bit more groomed- are the details I think make an appointment really shine. Many of these extra services aren’t available at the “big name” cut places- iykyk. So the next time you’re in Acworth and book a haircut with me www.wildwoldbarbershop.com and go ahead and add on service or two! See you guys there! -Jessie

Men’s Winter Time Hair and Scalp Care Tips

Image
Hey guys! Let’s dive in with something that you may be embarrassed to talk to your barber about. Those pesky scalp flakes that you can’t shake… dandruff. It’s winter time, so I see this issue a lot more in the barbershop than usual. (disclaimer- I’m not a doctor, so the best way to get right to the source of scalp issues is talking to your dermatologist) That being said- there are a few key products I’m recommending to all my barber clients here in Acworth, Ga. I’m also using these myself on a regular basis. These items are easily accessible online or in a drugstore/grocery store… I’m not selling them in Wild Wolf Barbershop, but I do recommend them. My number one recommendation is using- Nizoral shampoo at least 1-2x per week. When you lather up- let it sit 3-5 mins before rinsing it, to get the maximum benefit. You may not notice an immediate difference right away, but after a couple weeks, you should see a huge improvement. Follow that up with a basic conditioner. This can also be u...
